Evaluation version
The evaluation version of SmartFoxServer Pro delivers full access to the platform for free and without time limits. It allows 20 concurrent users and provides 100% of the features!
The package includes:
- the multiplayer server
- client API for the Flash platform
- the Administration Tool
- the offline version of the documentation (outdated)
- over 35 examples for Flash/Flex
- the RedBox add-on for audio/video streaming
- the SmartFoxBits Community Edition pack
When you have finished downloading please consult our installation guide. After completing the installation process, point your browser to http://localhost:8080 to get started and browse the live examples.

For other Unix based operating systems such as Solaris, FreeBSD and others, we recommend to download the Linux distribution and follow the instructions provided in the documentation.
In case of minor updates and additions to the server or its components after the main package release, separate download links are provided in the Updates section of this page.
The AVG Antivirus for Windows could report a DNSChanger Trojan in the installer. This is a false warning, probably due to a too sensitive heuristic check. You can rest assured that the installer is perfectly clean.
TopServer updates
The patch below upgrades the server and client APIs to the latest version available. It is distributed as a compressed file (.zip): uncompress it and open the installation-notes.txt file for installation instructions. In case of minor updates and additions to the client APIs after the patch release, separate download links are provided below.

Client API updates
SmartFoxServer was originally designed to specifically target Flash Player based applications and games. Thanks to its popularity it has quickly gained interest among other technologies such as Java, Director, .Net/Unity 3D, etc. This section contains the links to download those client APIs not included in the main package or updated since the latest patch was released. These APIs have been developed by third parties with the supervision of the SmartFoxServer Team.
Most of these APIs provide full support to all SmartFoxServer features and are already used in production for real-world applications. Most of them come with the source code, documentation and examples of usage. If you are interested in any of the technologies listed in this page we encourage you to download the API and try them.

AJAX and Director APIs aren't supported anymore. The source code is available, for developers interested in updating them by porting the latest changes introduced in the official APIs.
